Summer events....

Can you believe it is almost summer?

We had such a long winter and our spring has burst into full bloom in a matters of days! I hope you are enjoying the return of all things new and are also listening to what God wants to make new in your life this year!

Have you taken a few minutes to think about one thing you dream of doing someday? Maybe it is a special trip? Maybe you really want to start exercising more? Maybe you just need a quiet day to yourself? Maybe you need a big hug?  Make plans to take one step towards that dream this week!

The Women of Freshwater have a number of great events planned this summer to keep you connected with other sisters in Christ.

Our first group event is on Thursday, June 21st and we are going to spend time together at Feed My Starving Children from 6-7:30pm. This service opportunity allows us to give a few hours of our time as we all make a difference in our world packing meals for starving children.

There is also a wonderful gift shop you can visit after the project and the proceeds go towards more meals for children!

We have several spots available and you can follow this  LINK  to register.

If you like to read, our monthly book club meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm. They will be discussing "My not so Perfect Life" on June 6th.

July 11th will be a historical novel about Mrs Lincoln's dressmaker....

And finally on August 1st will be "Redemption Road" by John Hart.

Visit this LINK to register for more information about the book club.

Save the date for our other summer event:

Canvas & Coffee event on Saturday, August 18th from 9am - Noon

More information to come on that event as we get closer.

Have a wonderful summer and stay connected!

Merry Christmas and Happy Advent!

What a precious time spent together last
night at the Women's Christmas party!

Time to gather, connect and take a break from the crazy holidays.

Time to remember our Christmas past when Jesus came to earth as a baby in the manger....time to stop and enjoy our Christmas present because that is where God is....and time to hope for our Christmas future and anticipate the second coming of our Lord Jesus!

Blessed Emmanuel.....May you practice waiting well and may God be with you all this Advent season like you have never experienced Him before!

We have a new winter newsletter available both digitally and at the connection centers. Excited about the January game night, new study groups starting and of course....the IF:Gathering in February.
